Established for 9 years with over 600 wildlife photos published throughout the world, DJSPhotography wants to share through this website the pictures we take to allow prospective clients as well as friends to see examples of our work. This website is our business card. The main part of the site is the Galleries so you may sample the range and quality of what we have to offer for sale. Please keep returning to the site as many of the galleries are regularly updated (weekly). We shoot primarily using a digital SLR (Jan 2004), only occasionally reverting to slide film. Many of the images on this site are scanned slides.
Notice to Editors.... Please use this website as a source for your picture needs Any image can be sent to you as a High resolution JPEG. We can also FTP larger images. We strive to present work that is UN-MANIPULATED and to show the true conditions under which the photo was taken. DJSPhotography almost exclusively concentrate on WILD animals in their natural surroundings. No animal has been harmed or captured in the making of these photographs. We do not encourage the use of baited hides due to their potential for creating dependency on humans. DJSPhotography tries to show the full un-cropped frame of the original image or slide. Occasional cropping is inevitable and these are distinguished in the reference label under each image or with a (C) after the title. Manipulation of digital images is kept to an absolute minimum - only unsharp mask, levels, contrast colour balance and saturation being used and always to the whole image (never selectively). DJSPhotography never adds or subtracts anything to the image (well, almost never!). We believe this approach helps you to judge our standard and see REAL wildlife photos. Almost all the images on this site can be supplied to fit A4 at 300dpi, or A3 at 180dpi with NO image degradation normally associated with image manipulation (i.e. NO interpolation). Titles or image reference labels of slide scans end with (S), and cropped images with (C) or shown in the image reference. Digital scans carry no distinction, or a (D).
