Red
Fox 2 (S)
Whilst
waiting for deer at a site in the Forest of Dean this fox
trotted by, stopping only by surprise to check out the noise my
camera made!

Fox
Hurray for the fox, long may it hunt rabbits and other "vermin"
in peace. They are an absolute necessity to maintain a
good ecological balance within the countryside. They are
actually the farmers' friend. They are able to control to
their own population and do not need culling. During Foot
& Mouth when all hunting stopped, the population of foxes
actually declined. Unnatural killing of foxes promotes
more breeding via a little understood process, presumably
involving pheromones.
